Android was the last job still downloading its world every run: ~3 GB of
SDK/NDK/CMake from Google, a from-source cargo-ndk build, and one monolithic
cache key where a gradle edit invalidated the cargo registry and the Rust
target/ with it. punktfunk-android-ci (content-keyed, LAN registry) bakes
JDK 21 + SDK + NDK + cargo-ndk + sccache; the workflow shrinks to checkout →
two caches → gradle. The cargo-home cache joins the fleet-wide namespace
(same lockfile, same layout — it was the same bytes under a private key),
gradle gets its own key shared with android-screenshots (which stored the
identical content under a second name), and target/ leaves the cache —
sccache covers the three ABI builds now.
Apple: sccache (self-healing ~/.local/bin install + already provisioned on
the mini) covers every cargo invocation build-xcframework.sh makes across
the swift job, the screenshots job and release.yml — three jobs that each
recompiled the same core. screenshots.sh learns PF_SHOT_DERIVED_DATA so CI
pins one stable DerivedData root instead of cold-building into two throwaway
mktemp trees per run (release.yml's disease, same cure), and the Simulators
get shut down after capture (the 846-leaked-sims lesson).

The five builder images now live on home-ci-core's LAN registry
(192.168.1.58:5010) under content keys — a hash of the ci/ tree (+
rust-toolchain.toml for the cross image). docker.yml builds one only when its
key has no manifest yet, so a push that doesn't touch ci/ costs a curl per
image instead of seven WAN pushes and a set of per-SHA tags that no plain
prune could ever reclaim. Releases pin builders by copying the key manifest
to a vX.Y.Z tag via the registry API — no rebuild, no bytes moved.
Around that: deb/rpm/arch/android/apple/decky get path filters so docs-only
pushes stop lighting up the whole fleet (branch pushes only — tag runs match
tags:, as flatpak/windows-msix releases have proven for months); the
report-only bench job moves to bench.yml (nightly + dispatch) and stops
occupying a fleet slot per push; flatpak caches its Flathub runtimes and
builder state instead of re-downloading multi-GB every run; rpm's cargo
registry cache gets its own key namespace instead of sharing the Ubuntu
jobs'; audit caches cargo bin+registry rather than the whole toolchain dir;
docker-prune.sh loses the local act-cache cap/burst-clear (the cache is
central now — deleting it under disk pressure was how runner-2 ended up
cold-building everything) and gains a leaked-network prune.

Every push-triggered workflow now declares
concurrency: { group: workflow+ref, cancel-in-progress: true }
A busy push cadence on main was stacking ~10 queued runs per commit —
the fleet was 110 runs behind tonight — while only the newest commit's
canary matters. Now each new push cancels the superseded queued/running
run of the same workflow. Release tags are unaffected: every tag is its
own ref, so tag runs never cancel each other. Gitea honors this for push
triggers (PR triggers don't cancel yet: gitea#35933).

Address findings from a repo security review:
- core: add a sliding-window anti-replay filter over the AEAD-authenticated
sequence in Session (poll_input/poll_frame), closing the input-replay gap the
data plane previously left to the LAN/VPN trust assumption. 4096-deep window,
unit-tested; the encrypted loopback suite confirms no false drops.
- clients: write the mTLS client private key 0600 and lock the config dir 0700
on Unix (it was world-readable at the umask default), re-locking existing
stores on load. pf-client-core::trust plus the probe's own identity writer.
Windows keeps the %APPDATA% ACL; Android/Apple already wrap the key.
- web: fix a post-login open redirect — resolve `next` via URL and require it to
stay same-origin, rejecting `/\evil.com` and tab/encoding variants the old
`!startsWith("//")` guard missed. Also fixes the dead safeNextPath helper.
- ci: SHA-256-pin the BtbN FFmpeg DLLs bundled into the signed Windows installer
(were fetched from the rolling `latest` tag unverified); fails closed on a
re-roll, matching the VB-CABLE gate.
- ci: fail-open fork-guard on the Windows/Apple host-mode PR build jobs that
share runner labels with the signing jobs. Definitive fix stays server-side
(Gitea outside-collaborator approval / isolated PR runners) — see the notes.

With cmake now found, Homebrew's CMake 4 refuses the vendored libopus's
`cmake_minimum_required(VERSION <3.5)` ("Compatibility with CMake < 3.5 has been
removed"). Export CMAKE_POLICY_VERSION_MINIMUM=3.5 (the same knob the Windows
build uses) so the cmake crate's child cmake configures the audiopus_sys libopus.

The self-hosted macOS runner runs steps with `bash --noprofile --norc`, so
Homebrew's bin dir is not on PATH — the previous `brew install cmake` died with
`brew: command not found` (exit 127). Find brew at its known prefix, install cmake
only if missing, and export the brew bin dir to $GITHUB_PATH so the subsequent
xcframework build (audiopus_sys → vendored libopus) actually finds `cmake`.

The 5.1/7.1 surround commit (7612238) added in-core Opus, which broke two CI jobs
that the merge didn't touch:
* Windows MSIX client: clients/windows/src/main.rs's headless `SessionParams`
initializer was missing the new `audio_channels` field (the GUI path sets it
from settings). Default the CLI/test path to stereo (2), matching trust.rs.
* Apple xcframework (apple.yml + release.yml): in-core Opus decode pulls
`audiopus_sys`, which builds a vendored *static* libopus via CMake when
pkg-config finds no system Opus — keeping the xcframework self-contained (no
runtime libopus.dylib on end-user Macs/devices). The self-hosted macOS runner
lacked `cmake`; install it self-healing before every xcframework build.

Diagnosed from the first run: only the iPad shots were produced. The runner
lacks an "iPhone 16 Pro Max" device, is headless (no window server -> the macOS
window capture's app window never appears), and the Tier-3 tvOS build-std slice
failed.
- screenshots.sh: shoot_sim now creates a throwaway Simulator (matching device
type + newest available runtime) when the runner has no matching device, so
the iPhone 6.9" shots are reproducible instead of skipped.
- apple.yml: scope the CI job to the two REQUIRED iOS sizes (iPhone 6.9" +
iPad 13"), captured via `simctl io screenshot` (no Screen Recording grant
needed). Drop macOS (headless runner has no window server) and tvOS (build-std
slice) from CI — generate those locally with `tools/screenshots.sh macos tvos`.
Faster, deterministic xcframework build (BUILD_IOS=1 only).

Gitea's artifact storage identifies as GHES, which @actions/artifact v2+
(upload-artifact@v4) refuses outright. v3 uses the older artifact API Gitea
supports; the downloaded artifact is still a zip. (The capture itself already
worked — 5 macOS scenes were produced; only the v4 upload failed.)

A DEBUG-only "shot mode" renders one mock-populated screen full-bleed
(PUNKTFUNK_SHOT_SCENE=<name> -> ScreenshotHostView instead of ContentView),
so the OS can screenshot the REAL, fully-rendered UI. tools/screenshots.sh
drives it: screencapture for the mac window, `simctl io booted screenshot`
for the iOS/iPad/tvOS Simulators, at exactly the App Store Connect sizes.
ImageRenderer was tried first and rejected: it can't rasterize this app's
chrome (NavigationStack, Form/TabView, Liquid-Glass/NSVisualEffect all render
black or the "can't render" placeholder). Capturing the live window/Simulator
avoids that. Only the stream hero is synthetic (StreamView needs a live
connection) - a synthwave frame + the real glass HUD, overridable via
PUNKTFUNK_SHOT_HERO.
CI: a new `screenshots` job in apple.yml builds the iOS (+ tvOS best-effort)
xcframework slices, runs the harness per platform best-effort, and attaches
the result as a single zip artifact (punktfunk-appstore-screenshots). It is
isolated from the build/test job and skipped on PRs, so a capture gap (missing
Simulator runtime, or no Screen Recording grant for the mac window capture)
never reds the core signal.
Generated PNGs (clients/apple/screenshots/) are gitignored.

Three workflows: ci.yml (Rust workspace inside the punktfunk-rust-ci
builder image + web/docs-site build+typecheck), docker.yml (build+push
punktfunk-web, punktfunk-docs, punktfunk-rust-ci to git.unom.io — host
and native clients stay un-dockerized by design), apple.yml (host-mode
macos-arm64 runner: Rust core -> PunktfunkCore.xcframework ->
swift build + swift test).
ci/rust-ci.Dockerfile: Ubuntu 26.04 with the workspace's link deps
(FFmpeg 8, PipeWire, Opus, GL/EGL/GBM, xkbcommon, libcuda via the
580-server userspace as a link stub) + pinned rustup + node for the JS
actions. Verified end to end in-container: build, 141/141 tests, C ABI
harness; all three images seeded to the registry manually.
scripts/ci/setup-macos-runner.sh provisions the Mac (rustup + darwin
targets, Node tarball, gitea-runner 1.0.8 host mode, LaunchAgent with
DEVELOPER_DIR auto-detect for sudo-free Xcode selection). Docs in
docs-site/content/docs/ci.md.
